For the last 9 years I have operated a seasonal art gallery in Barry's Bay, Ontario specializing in glass and pottery. About 5 years ago I started carrying jewellery and beads. I soon became obsessed with the colours and variety of glass,stone and pearl beads available. It wasnt long before I was teaching myself how to make jewellery and passing my passion along to other bead enthusiasts thru a variety of classes offered. Annually I travel to Tucson, Arizona (biggest retail and wholesale mineral and bead show in North America) to purchase treasures from around the world.
Recent courses in California, Arizona and New Mexico have opened new and exciting avenues in jewellery design and construction. This has allowed me to broaden my skills and enjoy the challenge of working with wire and sheet metal to create unique and functional jewellery.
